Paul realized that whether he had little or plenty, he was rich and content as long as he had God. AMEN!
Lotto! The Big Spin! The Annual Bonus! Etc. We tend to look for additions to our portfolios, bank accounts, and personal possessions as signs that God is truly blessing us, and often get frustrated because they don’t grow the way we think they should. But if we ever stopped to count our blessings from God we would see it’s impossible to enumerate what He has done for us and how He’s given to us. And it’s not only what He’s given to us but also what He’s kept us from. It would be virtually impossible for us to count our riches in blessings for just one day, let alone a lifetime. So if we ever feel short-changed all we need do is start counting.
