The greatest barrier between us and God’s omnipotent power is our own supposed strength. – Anon
Samson got comfortable with his situation and began to trust in himself. He soon found his strength “sapped.” Hmm!
Though we earnestly say we believe in God and expect Him to be active in our lives, often our actions prove otherwise. We often rely on our own strength, resources, and knowledge to handle situations in our life. We tend mentally to divide our problems into two categories: problems that we know require God’s help and those we think we can handle on our own. We must remember “God’s strength is made perfect in our weakness.” It’s true God ‘gifted’ us with strength, know-how, resources, etc.; but we must always remember none of it is of any use if He is not involved. As the events of the day unfold we should make sure God has the lead part.
Until tomorrow……..
