Even knowing that he had betrayed him, Jesus still washed Judas’ feet. Why, because it’s what love OUGHT to do! AMEN.
Basic human nature makes it easy to love those who love us. But if God’s love is “made complete in us,” we must love all his children, and that means loving one another is work because some of us are not so loveable. In fact, sometimes the hardest command to obey is to love the unlovable, the unapproachable, the unappreciative, the uncooperative, the unpleasant, or the uncouth person you next meet. But that’s just the divine moment we were created for to let Christ live through us. Now that we know what will we do?
Until tomorrow…

“If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? And if you greet only your brothers, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that? Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.” – Matthew 5:46-47
