Good Work

Though it took him some time and he endured a bit of ridicule, not only was Noah’s ark designed well, it also actually floated. WOW!

It’s a sad truth that many folks don’t enjoy what they do for a living. The bible does teach us that if we are able we should do honorable work to support ourselves, and that it is God who gives us the ability and opportunity to create wealth. In truth, it’s not so much the work as it is the attitude we bring to it. Work is such an ennobling blessing. It is our opportunity to use our mind, body, and time to produce a commodity or service that is pleasing to God. And if what we are about during the day is to be useful and bring glory to the Master, it certainly requires our best efforts. Cheap work is never good, and good work is never cheap. Remember God’s work for us cost Him His Only Son.
