Once Balaam heard his 'animal' talk I'm sure he had a whole different attitude to the sounds of nature. Hmm!
You ever heard a tree sing? Generally, when we see the leaves shaking and hear the wind rustling through them, we say "it's windy". Rarely do we think it may be their praise to God! Rarely do we think the birds 'chirping on a wire' or 'in a nest' as singing praise to God. We generally consider them a nuisance for waking us up. But if 'everything that has breath' is to praise God maybe we need to 'slow down and adjust our attitude - "be still and know that He is God" - and realize praise is going on all around us at all times. Yes, there is a lot of 'sound' around us, but it's not all noise to distract, often it's praise to invite. Before we let it irk us, maybe we need to listen a little more, that it might inspire us and bless our hearts. May today we listen with new ears and eyes.
