Though Saul was once an enemy of his, king David extended great kindness to his grandson Mephibosheth. AMEN!
It’s the ultimate kindness. Paul said, “I became all things to all men that I might save some!” He tried his best to put himself in their ‘shoes’ to show them how his Jesus loved them and wanted to save them. At that time, all he wanted was to be an invitation to Christ – the ultimate kindness. Not unlike what God did for us in Christ. He put on human flesh and became one of us to show us how much He loved us – again the ultimate kindness. I’m sure this Great God of ours has engineered today with circumstances where we will need that kindness ourselves, but even greater we will need to express it to others. Life beckons.
